Tim and I met in Seattle as we arrived to record Snow White. Thinking he was Damon, I made a lewd joke from behind a stall in the restroom, but to my embarrassment, it was Tim! I'm not sure what I said, but that was Tim's first impression of me. With Larry mooning the recording truck's camera at the end of our sessions, and Damon walking into our mix with orange hair, I have a feeling Tim definitely knew this was not to be an ordinary group. Tim is a man of experience, seasoning and great humor. He's also a scary guy to meet in a dark alley! ... Until you realize he's one big pussy cat. I could tell he was initially leery of my string over-dubbing methods, but after Snow White, he became an endorser and came to expect it on Incognito and Apt Pupil. He's also one to keep going late into the night until I finally say, "Stop, I can't take it anymore tonight!"
