The shit hit the fan when I brought this film back to San Jose to show the San Jose Movie Club and my parents. It was patterned after the story-telling technique used in the French film La Jete: I told the film in still photographs with a narrator telling the events of the story as if it had really happened. It took a lot of time bacause I had to shoot the scenes and actors with a still camera and then shoot the stills onto movie film. It made the French science fiction story quite believable, as it did in mine, where a man and a woman attempt to have a heterosexual relationship in a world where homosexuality is the norm. I had the narrator have a French accent as homage to La Jete.
