John's Thoughts
After graduating from USC, two friends of mine, Ari Manasian and Lance Lund formed a little production company for industrials called In-Sync Productions. Having re-scored Lance's student film (Heart's Desire) as an experiment and knowing of my music scoring hobby, they hired me for $300 to score this employee training video. All I had at this time was my D70 keyboard and one sound module. But I made the most of it utilizing an old reel to reel tape deck for creating more "midi channels" as it were.
