John's Thoughts
The second such victim for my new hobby was "Heart's Desire." It was a friend's (the late Lance Lund) short 16mm film at USC. Like most student films, the score on it was abomidable, so I decided to redo it. After scoring his film, Lance Lund and another friend of his, Ari Manasian, started up a small production company where they produced industrial films. They then hired me to score a couple. I then went on to do industrials for a company Lance later went to work for. They included music for Kwikset Locks and Amgen Pharmaceuticals.
