John's Thoughts
Once again, pre-Suspects, this was an extremely dark and brooding score about a man in a jail cell contemplating suicide. There was a lot of dialog in the film with the man talking to "himself", yet my equipment was so primitive, I couldn't hear the production track at the same time as I played the music. So I wrote down film footage numbers for specific dialog lines and composed to them. I later adapted this theme to become the theme for the CD ROM game, "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream".
